Surveying of potential Orchard as to suitability suggesting rootstocks to determine size of trees for the space available and helping you to choose which varieties would best serve you .

 Marking out the ground for potential orchard with regard to the rootstock chosen and the spacing recommended .

  Supply (bear in mind this may need to be ordered the year before depending on availability )

and delivery of trees ,relevant gaurds and ties,

  Mapping of Orchard for best results .This entails putting the right trees together for ease of harvest and overall look of the final orchard.

  Planting ,tieing ,and relevant gaurding . This depends on whether there will be livestock grazing in the orchard ,Dear and rabbits .

   On going advice and maintainence of trees .

 Could I suggest you seek advice as there are methods that need following for a succesfull orchard.

  Reports on existing Orchards as to the state of each tree, work needed and new plantings . There would be a site visit followed by an in depth writen report by e'mail or post.

  Pruning any fruit tree whether one tree in your garden or an Orchard, Commercial or Traditional or on HLS grant scheme . Advice for Orchard owners as to if grants are availble.

  Who ever you get ,or not ,to prune your Orchard there are some  rules to follow.It is worth asking your pruner  a few poinient questions  - 'Do you know  what a tip bearer is (common one is a Bramley ) These do have to be pruned correctly as you could end up with a lot less fruit and a lot more yuong shoots.- 'What time of year would you prune a plum tree " the answer here is after fruit set ,so between april and up to  harvest .
